FONTENEBRO INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL WILL CONSUME LARGE PART OF ITS OWN ENERGY WITH THE INSTALLATION OF 190 SOLAR PANELS ☀️♻️

Fontenebro International School goes a step further in search of a 100% sustainable activity with the environment, betting on a photovoltaic installation on the roof of the school with 190 solar panels.

In this way, we intend to help reduce the environmental impact of the production and consumption of non-renewable energies.

With this investment, we want to reinforce our commitment to sustainability and the environment, helping to reduce the environmental impact through efficient management, avoiding emissions of 40,700 kg of CO2, and will generate energy of 113 MWh, thus consuming only solar energy.

In total, nine of the eleven ISP, centers in Spain have photovoltaic panels that generate a total of 1,200MWh per year, which will avoid the generation of waste and the emission of 436 Tn/year of CO2, which would be equivalent to 872 trees planted .

The nine schools in which the installation has been carried out are distributed among the provinces of Alicante (Laude The Lady Elizabeth Junior School and Laude Newton College), Asturias (Laude Palacio de Granda), Castelló (Laude British School of Vila-real), Cádiz (Laude El Altillo School), Madrid (International Aravaca and Fontenebro International School), Malaga (Laude San Pedro International College) and Seville (International School Andalucía)
